The Plane
When Fred was 25 years old he walked home one day to have lunch, one winter.
- He asked his neighbor to watch his airplane
Fred on The Ice
Fred landed on ice and he walked home. He knocked on the door and went in. He had lunch. He went back to his plane and flew away.
When he knocked on the door his wife has to open the door because it was locked.

Fred and The Manure Pile

- This is a picture of Fred going into the manure pile. He has manure all over the plane. There was ice on the motor. He and the farmer moved the cows away so he could take off.

Mrs. Quimby

When Mrs. Quimby went to school they did not have very much paper.
They did not use much paper. They used the backside. They burned wood.

Mrs. Quimby Blackberries

When Mrs. Quimby was young she walked home. When she walked home she had a blackberry bush. She ate all she wanted. When she was full she filled her pockets full.

Wagons

- Back in the olden days they used horses with wagons with wooden wheels. The back of the wagon had room for people to rest in.

- It is really neat how you milked the cows back then. I thought you had electricity back then. I bet your chores were hard but I bet walking to school was fun! I bet eating all those berries was fun.
